Home Again 2
The project ‘Home Again 2‘ is a continuation of the active cooperation between Citi Ukraine and the Peli can live charity foundation in 2024-2025.
Together, we have provided safe housing for 11 families who were forced to leave the temporarily occupied Ukrainian cities and towns due to the hostilities. In particular, there are eight families from the Mariupol district, one from the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region; one family is from Kherson region and one from the Luhansk region, 47 people total, including 16 children – from 6 month to 17 y.o). All participating families previously lived in rural areas and have hands-on experience in home gardening and horticulture.
All families have been given separate modular houses in three communities in the Kyiv region (interior work for three houses will be completed by the 20th of November), including nine houses in the Studenikivska community, which kindly offered assistance in finding suitable plots of land (most of which were 0,20-0.25 hectares with a total cost of USD 2000 each).
In 2023, we built houses on the land plots of people who lost their homes as a result of Russian missile strikes on the Chernihiv region (which was completely liberated from the occupying forces). People had their own land, and we could use the old utilities that were connected to the plots, but now we had to create all the utilities from scratch.
After consulting with the Studenyky amalgamated community and the Mariupol district administration (since most families lived on their territory before the full-scale war), we decided to use Citi’s funds (with their consent) specifically for modular houses in order to provide housing for a larger number of families, and to seek additional funding for infrastructure around the houses.
Thus, we had to find ways to finance infrastructure around the houses to help families. We made this a separate important project – “Infrastructure for Life”. What we and our families raised funds for:
- Block-and-pile foundation
- Autonomous sewage system
- Water supply (borehole or central water supply)
- Electricity connection
- Landscaping and site improvement
We still need to drill boreholes for four families, build septic system for one family.
We would be truly grateful for any support – donations can be made using the details provided below.
Donations are non-refundable. By transferring funds to the project accounts, you agree to this condition.
If we are able to raise more funds than needed for the infrastructure of “Home Again 2”, the surplus will be used to purchase homes and develop infrastructure for new families, and by donating, you automatically consent to this.
100% of the funds contributed to the Foundation for creating project infrastructure will be used exclusively for this purpose.

PROJECT RESULTS: “HOME AGAIN 2”:
