‘Peli can live acts as a project manager, ensuring the implementation and financing of some of the projects in the City of Good.
- With the grant support of ING Bank Ukraine JSC, the Foundation purchased medical equipment for the daily needs of children with cerebral palsy and for the establishment of a rehabilitation centre and hospice in the City of Good. In addition, the Foundation provided a sub-grant to the City of Good to fully fund the salaries of the medical staff of the Rehabilitation Centre and Hospice from May 2023, which at the end of 2023 consisted of 9 anaesthetists, 12 nurses, 7 nurses, 14 nannies, a physiotherapist, 2 assistants, a massage therapist, a psychologist, a neurologist, a neonatologist, an occupational therapist, a speech therapist, a cook and a chief physician. Thanks to ING’s grant, by the end of 2023, 24 children with incurable diseases who had practically no proper care received support, quality care and treatment at the Hospice. More than 70 children receive rehabilitation every month, and children also receive consultations from specialised doctors.
The doctors of the mobile medical team of the City of Good Rehabilitation Centre visit children who are bedridden and need consultations or care, but are difficult to transport to medical facilities.
