Interactive map of “Shelterbelts of life”
The interactive map showcases the shelterbelts that have been created and restored as part of the “Shelterbelts of life” project, implemented by the Charity foundation Peli can live in scientific cooperation with the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP) and with financial support from ING Bank Ukraine.
Every shelterbelt has its own story, its own initiators, partners and local stewards. The newly planted and restored areas are regularly maintained and monitored to track their condition, growth and development over time.
These shelterbelts are more than just newly planted trees. They are a shared asset of the project and the communities — a long-term investment in healthier landscapes, resilient agriculture and a more sustainable future.

We invite communities, institutions, businesses and civil society organisations to join us in restoring and creating new shelterbelts. If you are interested in partnership or would like to get involved, please contact us at info@pelicanlive.com
