Aqua Rehabilitation Centre

Thanks to Citi Ukraine’s financing, we are starting together with the Charity Foundation “City of Goodness” the construction of the “Aqua Rehabilitation Centre” in the City of Goodness. Fifty percent of the children who come with moms, as well as orphaned children who arrive in the City of Goodness, are children with disabilities. That is why the City of Goodness is increasing its capacity, the number of medical staff, and the services the current rehabilitation centre provides for children. However, rehabilitation needs to include the opportunities provided by water.

Two swimming pools will be built in “Aqua Rehabilitation Centre”. One of the basins is planned to combine canine therapy with water. New rehabilitation premises, including physiotherapy and massage rooms and a separate room for the neuropsychologist who works with children with autism, will also be added.

They will be able to provide services to both residents of the City of Goodness and children who live or stay in Chernivtsy. The City of Goodness also plans to build its school in the future, and a swimming pool will be an essential part of children’s physical development.
