Course on Nursery Management, Forest Restoration, and Agroforestry Successfully Completed
From 20 to 24 April 2026, the course “Nursery Management, Forest Restoration, and Agroforestry” was held by the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP) in partnership with Peli can live, with financial support from ING Bank Ukraine as part of the #ShelterbeltsOfLife project.
Participants from Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions joined the training. While each participant had their own motivation, they were united by a shared interest in learning more about tree planting, shelterbelt restoration, nursery development, and community greening initiatives.
The course included three days of online lectures followed by a practical training day at the NUBiP educational and research nursery.
Throughout the course, participants are actively engaged in discussions, asked questions, and shared experiences from their communities. Conversations often continued long after the sessions had ended. The instructors provided detailed answers and practical recommendations that participants can apply in their work right away.

Upon completion of the course, all participants received certificates.
